The Mets beat the Cardinals tonight in dramatic fashion. The two were tied 1 to 1 up to the bottom of the eleventh inning when Shawn Green hit a walk-off home run straight out over center field. Right now they are in first place in the National League East, 3 games ahead of Philadelphia and 4 games ahead of the hated Braves. The Braves are in a terrible slump right now - they've scored something like one run in their last 5 games. Ouch.

Cleveland won, too - 5 to 2 over the A's. Cleveland is one game behind the first place Tigers in the American League Central. Come on, you guys. Just keep it up.

By the way, that nice-looking baseball player in my header is Grady Sizemore. He plays for the Indians and I absolutely love him. He's a great player, makes lots of nice catches out in center field.
