The Yankees won today! New York and Minnesota were tied 5-5 in the eighth inning when Jeter walked and Hideki Matsui hit a two-run homerun. Mariano Rivera gave up one run in the ninth but he held on to the the win. The final score was 7-6.
The Mets beat the Astros 6-2. Green, Delgado, and Castro all hit doubles and Jose Reyes hit a triple. Beltran hit a homerun in the ninth, but by then they were already ahead.
Well, C.C. Sabathia had a bad night. He gave up ten hits and seven runs in four innings. The Tigers win 12-3. Boo.
