Good news: I finally got to see my counsellor today! She said she has to ask a few administrators before I can take the class at Las Po, so let's hope it gets approved. She was really nice.
Last night was Barry Bonds's last home game as a Giant. It was very sad. They played a couple of musical montages of Barry's defining moments, one of which was set to "I Did it My Way." I'll miss Barry.
Today I found out that physics is not a required class... holy crap I am so mad. I don't even have to be taking this krud! Oh, well. I think it might be required for AP bio students. Speaking of bio, there are a couple of jerks in that class who make stupid noises and throw things during lectures. My teacher totally told them off today. She said "if you are gonna act that way then you can leave cuz we don't want you here." I was so glad she finally said something to them. Everyone else was glad too. I don't get why people like that actually sign up for AP classes. What are they getting out of it? I'm assuming they're gonna flunk out, but they might be one those annoying smart people who just don't apply themselves. I know one of them cheats - he brags about it. Gah.
I've been feeling really stressed out these last couple of days, and today I was really mean to the people in my physics lab group. We are supposed to complete the lab together but I told them you do it your way and I'll do it my way. God I was such a ... mean person.
Bradley update: Still reading the Bible. Today Mrs. Bradley talked about Adam and Eve and that stupid "tree of the knowledge of good and evil." Why would God put a dangerous tree in his little garden? Did he want to hurt the new people he made? I don't even know.
Apparently Mrs. Bradley went to a Catholic school, and my friend A.J. said he bets she is a lesbian. He thinks a girl who goes to an all-girl school is much more likely to be one... I told him that's stupid since you're born lesbian, you don't become lesbian. But like I said earlier there are some things we will never agree on.
Mrs. Bradley is something though. Maybe an alien, or a fungus. You definitely don't become an alien or a fungus.
But, ah, the end is near. I hope.
Today I received a happy 18th birthday notice attached to a voter registration form. I just this second realized I left it in calculus. Dang.
Tomorrow is Friday thank god. TGIF. I am so tired right now I can't concentrate on anything. And tonight is College Night for seniors. I guess it will feature speakers and application info. Good stuff to know, but I just don't feel like going. I'm gonna go anyways, though.
My grandparents from Arizona called last night and said they're coming up here for Christmas. They're bringing my uncle Scott and his girlfriend. And since we have two and a half guests from Japan coming too we're gonna have a boat load of people at our house. We'll be packed in like sardines on Christmas Eve.
QED.
