The insurance company is giving us money to buy a used car. I guess we'll have to go shopping when that happens. I still have to give a statement, apparently.

As I mentioned before, it's Character Week at my school. I guess it's the one week out of your life you're supposed to have good character. I had to fill out this stupid "character pledge." I pledge to be responsible by (fill in the blank). What the heck is that? Tonight is back-to-school night for the parents and they're supposed to read what you wrote for this. So you're pledging to your parents? Seems like you should just pledge to yourself, if anyone. Gah. So dumb. I didn't put my name on it.

The weather's been funky these last couple of days. Yesterday was nice, but today was really cold and windy. Friday is supposed to be rainy. I'm glad the fall weather is coming, though. It's very calming to me.

Today we had a six-minute run in PE. I surprised myself because I was able to run the whole time. I'm still really out of shape, though. We started yoga yesterday - it's very hard. That's all I have to say about that.

Joba Chamberlain just came into pitch for the Yankees. He got the last out of the inning. I love Joba. He was born Justin but his niece could only pronounce his name as "Joba". So he legally changed it. Gotta love that.
