Well, the Earth Club president, Tiffany, finally e-mailed me back. Apparently she had sent out an e-mail saying the meeting was canceled, but I never got it...
The meeting was moved to today, so it's a good thing I checked my e-mail this morning.
There was just a couple of us there this time. No other officers besides Tiffany. So they all voted me to be Secretary.
Dr. Ansell, one of the club advisers, was there this time. He is a really nice guy. He teaches chemistry. I'll remember that when I sign up for that class next semester.
He suggested we all go kayaking in Tomales Bay..... Um, Tomales Bay? That vibrant breeding ground for white sharks? No, thanks! Why can't we go kayaking someplace cool and fun and safe? Like Del Valle. But they laugh at that idea for some reason..... like it's too amateur or something. Like, who wants to go to boring ol' Del Valle, that place for wussies? Whatever. I told them I won't go if it's in the ocean. I don't care if they think that's not cool enough for them.....
Anyway! I have a lot of math homework and Bethany wants me to draw her a picture of a jaguar for one of her school project things. I have drawn the one above several times. It is one of my favorite pics to draw.

Tomales Bay is an awesome place to go kayaking, G! I used to go there. Never did meet a shark, but it does motivate you when you're practicing rescues... And you're welcome to borrow my boat and gear. I have everything you need, EXCEPT I'm sure the life vest is waaay too big for you. But it's a nice, stable, and fast boat. Great for a first-time paddler!
And also, there has never been a shark attack in Tomales Bay ever...
Don't you think you could go??? I think you would love being on the water... it is so calming and centering....
Yes, we are home from Death Valley, it was beautiful!!
