Today in English Mr. Sato had us go over the 12 California props that will be on the ballot in November.
I think I will only vote on three: I will vote no on Prop 8 (designed to alter the constituion so that gay people can't get married), no on another one that says minors have to notify their parents before getting an abortion, and yes on one that improves living standards for animals raised for meat and eggs. So, yeah. That's how I am voting.

I copied your picture of SWWP and sent it to my friends who are also supporting Obama. I told them that I got this picture from your blog and what you call her. One friend just wrote back "Good to know she is inspiring the next generation of liberals!" Keep it up and spread the word. Keep your fingers crossed about the debate tonight.
How did you like the debate? I hated how condescending McPain was, and how he wouldn't even look at Barack... I thought McPain was better than I expected him to be, which gives you some idea of my low expectations for him. I am happy that the consensus seems to be that Obama was best....I can't wait to see the VP debate... poor SWWP, I almost feel sorry for her.
I bet she wishes she had just said "Thanks, but no thanks" to the offer to run for VP...
I forgot to say, good for you for studying up on the ballot initiatives... I have not really done so yet, altho I also will not be supporting the terrible idea of limiting marriage to a man and a woman... I have never figured out how anyone else's marriage partner choice threatens mine! And besides, everyone should be able to make a life with the person they love....
