Heh...sorry

Ok, ok, ok, sorry to bombard you guys with posts today...but...

I have been thinking. Dangerous, I know. Anyway, I have been thinking about where I shall go after Las Po. Believe it or not, I think I have taken UC San Diego off my list. I know, right, that was my dream for many years. But really, now I see that there are other options that may be more comfortable for me. Like UC Davis as I have mentioned. Mostly I like that school because it's close and it has a good zoology/vet program. But I have never been there (I don't even know where it is). Mom says it gets really hot there. I don't like hot.

But now... drum roll please... I am looking at San Francisco State University. Yes. SFSU.

It is really close. The weather is nice. It's by the ocean (like UCSD). It's mostly liberal. And it has a zoology major program. I checked. It also has a Japanese major program. So... how about this? A major in zoology and a minor in Japanese! Yeah, I know. Extremely random. Can you tell I have no clue what I want to do? No clue. So, maybe because of that I shouldn't make any decisions yet. But still.

I will have to wait probably until my last semester here at Las Po to take any kind of zoology class. And chances are I won't take a Japanese class, unless it is offered at a good time. It is only offered in certian semesters. And it doesn't count for transfer units. I dunno why. It's probably the hardest language to learn compared to European languages. It seems like it would even count for more units than those classes.

But anyway, I figure that if I go for a degree in Japanese, it will look good if I have taken that class, ya know? Yeah. So hopefully I can.

Of course.... I still have about two years left here. Anything can happen between now and then. I might discover that I hate chemistry and biology after this semester. Or I might discover that I love something else, something I have never even considered.

One thing I know for sure... I am not majoring in math!! But to major in zoology, you have to take two semesters of calculus. How the heck am I gonna be able to do that if I haven't taken math for two or three years???????? (*&^$@>. Oi. You just can't escape it. Unless you major in Japanese. No calculus required for Japanese.

So yeah, zoology not lookin' so hot. Biology not lookin' so hot. Too much math that I just can't do. How will I manage? I hate math!!!!! It ruins everything!!!! Why do you need to know about derivatives and integrals to take care of lemurs at a zoo? That's all I wanna do. Just take care of animals. I can tell you from first hand experience that zoo keepers do not use calculus when they go to work everyday.

Anyway... sorry about this. I will stop now. Bye.

It is really easy to drive up to Davis for a look see... and really, it is no more hot than Pleasanton or Sonoma... and the last time I checked, they don't have classes outdoors!

A look see? I didn't know anyone actually said that.
