Konnichi wa!
Well, I just spend the rest of my money on a pair of shorts, a pair of high socks, a pair of leg warmers, and a notebook. Yes.
I may have already said this, but I noticed a distinct style among Japanese girls here. They wear skirts or fuzzy shorts with either leggings, leg warmers, or high socks, and also boots. Even in the snow. I have decided that I shall steal their trends and bring them to America. I am pretty sure American girls will think that look is a little odd for the wintertime. I did. But I like it anyway. This reminds me of when I came last time. I stood in line at customs and I noticed some American girls making fun of and laughing at the clothes of some Japanese girls, in a mean way. I thought badly of them. I personally prefer the Japanese look to the American trend of skinny jeans paired with uggs.
Anyway, I am sure I will start a new fashion craze. Haha. Or not.
So... I had McDonalds pancakes, Starbucks hot chocolate, a bacon cheeseburger, and ramen yesterday. Oi. That is a lot of filling stuff. Heh. But I managed. Yes.
And... that is all for now. Joel is teaching class, Paul is playing with his toys, and Maki is doing laundry. Apparently, last night Paul had a long screaming fit. But I didn't hear anything - I was asleep.
Bye!

I can't wait to see your new Japanese style fashion statement... you probably WILL start a new trend... you always look so cool... What was the chain restaurant in Matsumoto??
KFC
Oh that's right!
Do you mean the cash that you brought with you? You have plenty of money in your account but don't forget to keep some American cash to spend at the airport in Seattle.
The picture of you at the castle was soooo cute!!
mom, what are you doing up so late?
If I may jump in here... We didn't eat at a chain store in Matsumoto (except a snack at Starbucks). We ate at a fantastic local burger place called U2. It was a great find.
lol... Lauren, we published those three comments at the same minute!!
where was KFC?
No, I meant that Graycie and Maki and I ate at U2. When you came, L, we ate at KFC in Matsumoto.
Oh yeah, gotcha....when I come again we can eat there too. How many times have you been to that castle?? Bethany wants to come to Japan big time!
I've been to this castle four times, I think. I've seen it in all four seasons, and it's very different each time. I have to say that winter suits it well!
Bethany is welcome anytime!
I mean, eat at U2
We ate at KFC when I was there... I thougt that was very funny at the time!
