Hiya.
Well I am happy and sad today. Wow "and" and "sad" are the same letters. hehheheh.
Anyway, I am happy because I had a great lesson with Katie today. I rode Shane. He is a good horse.
But I am sad b/c my future boyf--- er-- a tennis player that I like retired from his match against Roddick. As in Andy Roddick. Yes, that idiot. Well, most likely he will play Federer next and will be pounded into the ground by him. Haha. (I will let you guess who that other guy is.)
But this really ticks me off. The on court temperature in Roddick's match was ... wait for it... 136 degrees Fahrenheit. Yeah. So, my lover had to retire b/c of this. But all the commentators are saying that it is his fault because he wasn't in good enough shape to handle the heat. Um, good enough shape?? Humans die in those kinda temperatures. It is so dangerous. I don't see how any human can be in good enough shape to stand that. Humans are not machines. No matter how hard we may train, there are some things that we just can't withstand. Extreme heat is one of those things.
Well, that is just my opinion. Mom agrees with me. But no one on TV does. Or if they do, they are afraid to admit it.
But what really gets me is this: There is a retractable roof over the stadium they played in. But no one thought it was necessary to close it. Then what the freak is the roof for for God's sake???There is also supposed to be a "heat rule" in which all play is stopped if temps reach a high enough number. But this year that rule is now up to the chair umpire. Only he or she can decide when to stop play. I mean, what the heck??
Anyway... I will stop screaming now. By the way, "he" was defending champion.
So... bye!
